The long way south, on purpose. Three nights in the Bay of Islands to begin, a day under sail among the islands, and dinner in Russell. Auckland, then the Waitomo caves lit by glowworms on the way to Huka Lodge. A helicopter to the summit of Mt Tarawera and a sail on Lake Rotoiti with a hot pool at the end of it. Then the top of the South Island: Abel Tasman by private charter, golden beaches with no footprints on them but yours. Queenstown and Fiordland from the air to finish.

Welcome to New Zealand! A short transfer to the domestic airport before your quick flight into Kerikeri. Your guide will transfer you to your luxury retreat in the Bay of Islands. Your home for the next three nights is a magnificent suite at Eagles Nest with ocean views and a spacious private balcony. Large windows open to the sea and subtropical landscapes. Relax in your villa this evening with the township of Russell close by for dining.
